Beyond Death

edit: playing around with the mist effect...

He took the most important girls in his life into his arms and hugged them tightly.
“I’m yours,” Sharra-Ishtar whispered as she pressed her forehead against his and smiled.
He shut his eyes and smiled. The mist began to engulf them into infinity, but he did not mind. He did not mind it at all. He had all he needed in his hands. He would fight everything that would set them apart. Nothing should separate them. He would never lose them again. Not even death.
“As I am yours. Beyond death, my sharra.”

an illustration for my short story...

lynard and his wife, sharra-ishtar [sharra means princess in the story] and their unborn child...
the story is supposed to be the epilogue for BTW4, my collab story with =shicmap...

here's a spoiler~
lynard, sharra-ishtar, and the order of apocalypse - plus the underground citizens - started a war against zatga...
it was lynard's ambition to abolish all human - despite him being a human himself... - esp. eric, the zatga chief police, because he always ruined lynard's evil plan...
unknown to him, sharra-ishtar was pregnant with their child - supposedly a daughter because ishtar was a lamia and a lamia's child would always be female...
she hid the fact because every lamia queen had to 'eat' her husband after a child was conceived. [more or less like the widow spider...] and she didn't have the heart to do it because now she thought she loved him... *fool*

sooo...
during the war, someone almost killed lynard, but sharra-ishtar sacrificed herself instead...
lynard was enraged and went berserk and was killed by general kairim...

now...
the souls of dead people in zatga universe would come to a place called land of mist, where there was only... mist... *duh*
you walk through the mist and may end up in heaven, in hell, in your past, born into a new body [reincarnation], back to your dying body, or still in the land of mist...

so lynard's soul went there, just to be hugged suddenly by a little girl...
still confused, he met ishtar's soul, who greeted him and explained that the girl was their child...
lynard, now contempt with his life despite of him being dead, hugged his wife and daughter as the mist engulfed them...

sooooooooo tiring this is, i must admit!
takes me entirely 2 days to finish this... *sigh*
